Student IT Technicians is an advanced Computer Science / Cybersecurity Work Experience program. Students who have completed the core classes in the Computer Science and/or Cybersecurity program will provide frontline technical support to staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of technology resources.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments by participating in Business Professionals of America (BPA) Competitions. It is a “hand-on” class and much of the work is completed independently.

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Install and maintain district technology equipment
- Assist with device management and inventory tracking
- Provide classroom technology support for teachers
- Respond to help desk tickets and on-site support needs

- Language Other Than English: The second credit can be substituted with CTE program completion

- Visual, Performing, and Applied Arts: Credit can be substituted with CTE program completion
