Getting Started with Shared Folders

For your class, Mr. Carl will set up a shared folder with you to submit your work to be graded.  You will receive notification from Microsoft Office via email once this is set up.  To access your folder:

1. Go to office.com

2. Login with your district issued email and password (if the system doesn't automatically log you in).

3. Click on the waffle (nine dots icon) in the upper left hand corner

4. Click on OneDrive

5. On the left menu, select "Shared"

6. Locate the folder with "Carl - " & "Your classname - " & "Your name" - i.e. "Carl - Python - Smith, Joe"

7. Inside this folder will be the files needed to complete your course.  

8. Most courses will have a "Student Workbook". 

A. If you have a "Student Workbook" file, you will need to download it, and open it with Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.  

B. DO NOT double click on it as it will open in a browser window that you will not be able to save your work

C. When completed or done for the day, save the file and place it back in your shared folder so Mr. Carl can grade it.

9. Any other work that needs to be graded shouild be saved in this folder.
